The Wilson family are soon to grow in size to a big family of 5! They really wanted to capture some special memories before life starts it’s new chapter for them all and they picked the most perfect morning and location to do it.
Living so close to the beach at Mona Vale, the Wilson’s thought this was the perfect spot for the boys to have fun and be comfortable during our session. We explored the rock pools and dunes nearby finding many treasures along the way. The boys even stole some quiet moments with Mum and Dad, and reflected on what it is going to be like being a big brother really soon.
I am so glad that they will now have these precious memories to treasure forever and will be able to share with the new family member once they join them very soon!
I just love photographing families, and this session was even more special than normal! With a sister and her family living here in Sydney, and the brother and his family all the way over in London they decided to contact me so we could set about capturing some very special memories while the UK family were here visiting.
Between 4 children, 2 sets of parents and even the grandparents – it made for a fun filled and action packed photography session. The family chose Cabarita beach as the location and it made a great place for the cousins to explore and search for seashells, climb some trees and run around all while having the beautiful water and greenery as a backdrop. Certainly something memorable for those all the way from London!
There may have been a few lollies to bribe the children, but we had a very fun morning making some very fond memories for this family to treasure forever.
Samantha and Ryan chose The Residences Centennial Park in Sydney for their wedding day back in March. Unfortunately the weather had been a little unpredictable, with quite significant rainfall in the days leading up to the big event. Even the morning of the wedding it was very wet with many showers falling throughout the area. We were prepared for the worst but the sun gods were thankfully on our side, as the skies cleared just in time for the ceremony! Samantha was most pleased, as she wanted to showcase her amazing wedding gown from Ziolkowski Bridal with glistening gold sequins, isn’t it stunning?
Both Ryan and Samantha were an incredible couple to work with, so relaxed and happy to be sharing their most special day with close family and friends. One of the benefits of the venue is the ability to DIY a lot of the day, which is exactly what they did! Guests were treated to amazing pizzas for dinner, and with the happy couple having a huge affection for beer there was plenty of it on offer – even right down to some styling elements on the tables!

On a coolish Spring day I had the pleasure of capturing Madeline and Andreas in Sydney’s Botanic Gardens before they welcomed their first child in to the world – which can you believe ended up happening the very next day after our maternity session!
The couple chose the Botanic Gardens for their maternity photography location as Andreas is from Greece and wanted to be able to share the photographs with family back home and to showcase all that Sydney and Australia has to offer.
One of the best parts of photographing in this location are the many options to work with. Beautiful lush backdrops of greenery, city skylines and the magnificent harbour all provide unique and lovely scenes making the photography session quite varied and interesting. We spent a few hours just casually walking around the gardens, chatting about the new member of the family about to arrive and enjoying all that the location had to offer. As it was a slightly overcast and cool day, we were quite lucky to have a lot of the place to ourselves making for an easier session! Nothing worse than battling through crowds of people to get those beautiful photos.
Andreas and Madeline welcomed little baby Mia to the world the next day, so I feel very lucky to have shared that special time with them before she arrived. They will always look back on these photographs with fond memories now!
