Review: Harvest Cafe, Newrybar.
Harvest Café, Bakery and Deli sprawls across three lovingly restored buildings in the historic town of Newrybar in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Utilising fresh produce of the region in simple, beautiful fare that makes use of fresh, local and organic ingredients where possible. Harvest is a unique experience in the flavours of the area and relaxed hospitality.
On our recent holiday to Byron Bay, I knew this was a venue we needed to visit! Although, sadly I didn’t quite realise how popular Harvest was and didn’t make a booking for lunch, so sadly we were only able to select from the bar menu but thankfully this did not disappoint! So if you’re planning on stopping by, be sure to make a prior booking as this is a real hotspot with locals and tourists alike!
Blessed with some of the country’s most exceptional producers, as well as the Harvest kitchen garden and organic farm, the menu at Harvest Café is created using the freshest organic and sustainable ingredients and changes each season to reflect the availability of produce. The chefs work closely with local growers and the on-staff horticulturalist to uncover the most exciting treasures of the season and design menus that allow the produce to shine.
Harvest was an exceptional restaurant and in which one I hope to return!
