This weekend wanderings edition is quite a special one! I was asked to shoot my very first portrait photography session for the lovely Lyndi from The Nude Nutritionist as she is building up her name in the industry very quickly and gaining quite a lot of exposure.
I was lucky enough to work with her on Saturday morning out in the sunshine to get some gorgeous shots (with a stunning model to work with!), and here is a sneak peek of some of the work that will soon be featured on her website! Why not head over and check it out! She is just amazing, and if you’re looking for any nutritional needs, Lyndi is your go to girl I assure you!
Having never done a shoot like this before, I was quite nervous when approached – but am very glad I gave it a go. I was happy with the results of my first attempt, so things can only improve from here right?! She was a pleasure to work with, and made me relaxed while shooting which certainly makes all the difference!
From there, it was wonderful to spend some time with my parents and sister who came down to visit! It was my parents wedding anniversary, so they treated themselves to a delightful dinner in the city to celebrate! My Mum bought me this amazing terrarium she made, which I adore! Isn’t it great? She is just so creative and crafty!
On Sunday, it was time to celebrate my husbands Great Aunt’s 90th birthday! It was a fantastic afternoon, with about 70 guests in attendance. We spent the afternoon in the sunshine, with good food and wonderful company.
My husband and in-laws soaking up the sunshine on the gorgeous Sunday afternoon! We were even treated to an opera singer, as Marj adores the opera. She got quite emotional while he was performing.
We were treated to an amazing afternoon of delicious canapes made on premises by Simmone Logue and her team. I couldn’t get enough of those rice paper rolls, they were divine! She managed to get a break from slaving away in the kitchen to celebrate with Marj over a glass of champagne, as they are dear friends.
It was a wonderful weekend filled with new experiences and lots of quality family time, the perfect way to spend a weekend!
